This Open House offers an excellent opportunity to tour our state-of-the-art facility, meet our dedicated team, and learn more about the impactful work of our center. During the event, you will be introduced to a variety of innovative programs, including:

  • The Community Invested Violence Intervention Collaborative (CIVIC) Baltimore Initiative: A multi-disciplinary effort led by Dr. Joseph Richardson, aimed at preventing violence and fostering youth engagement in the community.

  • Health Advocacy and Professional Development Resources: Presented by Dr. Stephen Thomas, focusing on ethical public leadership and the promotion of community health.

In addition, attendees will have access to resources from esteemed organizations such as:

  • African American Diabetes Association

  • National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) Intramural Research Program (IRP)

  • UMB School of Medicine HIV Program (JACQUES)

  • The ADORA Study (Identifying Anxiety in Autistic Adolescents)

These resources are designed to educate the public on essential health topics and provide valuable insights into maintaining personal and family wellness.

This event is free of charge, and all are welcome. Light refreshments will be served, and giveaways will be available for attendees.
