On April 12, 2024, The Judge Alexander Williams Jr. Center for Education, Justice and Ethics is pleased to announce that Honorable Judge Alexander Williams Jr. was awarded the Peter A. DiRito Award, presented by the Maryland Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. At their Annual Luncheon, Williams was awarded the Peter A. DiRito award in recognition of his foundational service to the United States District Court for the District of Maryland and in commemoration of the 10th Anniversary of the Dedication of the Greenbelt Courthouse.
