Lauren Jones is a Research Associate at the University of Maryland. Jones is a recent graduate of the University of Chicago where she is interested in Sociology, Social Psychology, and Human Behavior. Prior to her position, Jones served as a Research Associate at the University of Maryland's Transformative Research and Applied Violence Intervention Lab (TRAVAIL), where she supports research exploring violence prevention, community well-being, and social change. A sociologist by training, Lauren's work centers on race and ethnicity, culture, social psychology, and qualitative research methods, with a commitment to advancing equity through evidence-based scholarship.
