The Judge Alexander Williams Jr. Center for Education, Justice and Ethics is proud to partner with YouthWorks and the University of Maryland School of Public Health to host the NextGen Summer Scholars Summer 2026 Program at the PS103 Thurgood Marshall Amenity Center.

This program is a five-week summer learning program where Baltimore City high school students develop internship skills in digital storytelling, photography, audio and visual storytelling and production, research, interviewing, and social media in West Baltimore. 

In this program, scholars will learn:

• Story development and digital storytelling

• Photography, audio and video production

• Interviewing and community-based research

• Social media communication and media ethics

• Teamwork, presentation and showcase skills

We look forward to motivating students’ learning and development in media ethics and responsibility.
