The annual Hon. Judge Alexander Williams, Jr. Lecture series is a forum dedicated to recognizing those individuals and organizations whose exemplary commitment to educationrestorative social justiceethical leadership, and civic responsibility stands as a model of excellence and inspiration in the midst of a cultural and political environment increasingly characterized by cynicism, apathy, and polarization. Each year, the keynote address is given by an honoree who embodies these values during a fundraiser to support the Center's policy agenda, programs, and strategic initiatives.

We are delighted to announce that this year Professor Erica J. Suter, who is the Director of the Innocence Project Clinic at the University of Baltimore School of Law, will be our keynote speaker.

"To transform our criminal justice system and our society- which are inextricably linked- we must have the courage and vision to believe that something different is possible; and, that the unfamiliar and the uncomfortable are part of the path." ~ Erica J. Suter
