On Wednesday, October 5, 2022 from 4:00pm-6:00pm, the Judge Alexander Williams Jr. Center for Education, Justice, the Department of African American Studies, and Nyumburu Cultural Center welcomes all to attend this special event titled, "Decolonizing the (Un)Commonwealth: Pan-African Perspectives on the Movement for Reparations and the Legacy of Colonialism" in the Nyumburu Multipurpose Room at the Nyumburu Cultural Center. Joined by Dr. Michael W. Williams, Dr. Sangeetha Madhavan, and Dr. George Kintiba, this event will discuss pathways to reconnect people of African descent throughout the African diaspora by promoting awareness, enrichment, and student-centered opportunities.
